Mechanical/Mechatronics Engineer

We are currently looking for

Mechanical/Mechatronics Engineer, Armada

The ideal candidate will have a degree in mechanical or mechatronics engineering (or related), ideally with a minimum of two years’ experience in product development or sales engineering in an industrial environment.

  • Develop new customer solutions based on Ewellix platforms of ball screws, roller screws or actuators. Depending on the project, this could be a new development or a modification of an existing product.
  • Engage in consulting with Sales and our customers on the best technical and commercial solution for a given application
  • Size actuators or ball & roller screws to meet a specific application requirement
  • Project management on customer projects, interacting with a cross-functional team within and outside the organization.
  • Support and run internal and external trainings
  • Support Sales and Business Development with expert knowledge at customer visits or trade fairs
  • To follow management instructions and procedures; to report Environment Health and Safety (EHS) risks and EHS related incidents; to follow quality specifications and requirements and identify quality risks and opportunities for improvement
Professional skills
  • Strong technical understanding of mechatronic components such as ball screws, actuators, gearboxes, motors and controls preferred.
  • Consulting mindset to drive technical customer interaction and advise customers on the best solution
  • Project Management
  • Strong teamwork attitude
  • Availability to travel (locally and internationally
Other requirements
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States
  • Strong mechanical aptitude
  • Motors, motion control and PLC background preferred
  • Excellent technical skills, communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work in a global, cross-cultural and multi-functional team environment
  • Computer literacy

Travel requirements (approximately 10%)
