Plastic forming
An increasing number of manufacturers of plastic injection moulding systems are using various hybrid solutions or even fully electric systems with mechatronic components in addition to conventional hydraulic systems to increase their production capacity.
Hydraulic drives can be replaced by electromechanical actuators for the four main axes: Injection, mould clamping, part ejection and dosing.
Electromechanics offers several advantages such as longer operating time, higher accuracy, oil-free processes and longer life, which in turn reduces the total cost of operation for the end user.
